Meandering through the Swartberg Nature Reserve is the Swartberg Pass, which was declared a National Monument in 1988. 

Our guided adventure of this World Heritage Site is a must when you visit us in Oudtshoorn.

We will collect you from the guest house where you are staying and treat you to either a full or half day excursion up the pass.  Explore the fauna, flora and history that makes this such a great tourist attraction.  For those wanting to get the blood flowing, take a leisurely walk on the trails and of course don’t forget the spectacular views that you surely have to photograph.

Once you have worked up an appetite, we take you to one of the local restaurants for a light lunch.
